Basanti Eady

Role Owner of Acheron’s Rest Status alive

Overview

Basanti Eady is the current “director” of Acheron’s Rest. The position is more of that of a sheriff, but the name resolves from the original position in the company that held this office. Basanti handles the security of this outpost, and while it should extend to the full planet her actual enforcement power extends little past the edges of the outpost. She finds herself between the Acheronites, the later arrivers, and off worlders when they come into conflict. Her position is elected by the local residents of the outpost with the agreement of the heads of the local interest groups. The position she holds requires her to not only handle legal aspects, but also handle the careful political balance.

Appearances

• Session 10 (Session 10 - Six Shooters and Four Arms) — Met The Albatross at the ramp with a badge, a blaster and a notepad, reviewed the cargo manifest and cleared the crew. Told them gunfighting inside town limits is forbidden and that serious trouble is sent off-world to the marshals. Ignored Ronin Sanchez’s dinner invitation. Came out the next morning when Six tripped the perimeter sensors on a run in full armor.
