Chapter 1 — The Far Dark
-
(in-game date TBD) — Session 1 — Session 01 - The Ragged Edge of Space — The crew (Six, Rock Lavey, Shackleton Magellan, Ronin Sanchez) arrive at MacMillian Station IV by separate routes and take the MacMillian Security job. Orientation under Solveig Kaufer, the real briefing from Chief Holger Graeme, a first gate shift, and a night through the Entertainment District (The Comets Tail, The Silk Abbey, Nova Nexus). Over the following weeks the crew maps the station’s selective-enforcement corruption via the Law Machine and clocks the local players: the Rusted Blades under Leocadia Zavia, the Serene Syndicate around the Nova Nexus, and the redacted-record Marine Daniela Akkermans.
- (in-game date TBD) — The Coordinate Shakedown — at The Comets Tail, the crew watch Leocadia Zavia extract coordinates from a captive miner; Shackleton Magellan’s bot-tap is blown by Ronin Sanchez before the numbers are heard. An open lead.
-
(in-game date TBD) — Session 2 — Session 02 - The MacMillian Anomaly — After weeks as the station’s standing TAC team, the crew work a scam case (Harsha Trent) through Station 45 and the Nova Nexus, then a 4 A.M. alarm sends them into mothballed Processing II. They find a cargo container (Kinetic Logistics Container) rigged with a Mysterious Relay bridging human and non-human technology. Six boards it as it’s dragged into space by a hijacked drone, guts the relay, carves out two Alien Metal Chunks before Corrosive Goo and a timed self-destruct take the container into a “vortex.” The samples are confiscated to Zigurds Sloan; the crew is confined, then reassigned to Thides III.
- (in-game date TBD) — The Processing II Anomaly — the container incident itself: covert repeated access to a sealed sector, disabled station drones, apparent first-contact technology, and a station cover-up that prioritizes investor Peter Goodwin over the breach.
-
(in-game date TBD) — Session 3 — Session 03 - Buckle Up Motherfuckers — The crew and technician Jareth Brand fly a stripped-down Type 113A transport to restricted Thides III on a relay-maintenance escort. Mid-run their ship is downed by a dissolving substance; Ronin Sanchez crash-lands in the jungle. Fighting off EM-drawn wildlife (Furry Lampreys, a Chitinoteuthis), the crew reach Relay Station 11 and find it falsely logged as serviced for two years, with an alien device jamming comms — and spot a hidden Kinetic Logistics Compound taking a vortex-jump delivery. They raid the compound (guarded by Daniela Akkermans’s Akker Cartel), steal a transport rigged with alien tech and vortex engines, take a prisoner, and escape to MacMillian Station IV.
- (in-game date TBD) — The Kinetic Logistics Compound Raid — the infiltration, EMP strike, ship theft, and armed getaway; the crew’s first hard physical evidence since Processing II.
-
(in-game date TBD) — Session 4 — Session 04 - The Case of the Missing Courtesan — The crew fly the stolen transport home on its last fuel, are intercepted and cleared by Marshal Julija Borja, and dock at MacMillian Station IV — where Holger Graeme impounds the ship under federal quarantine at Docking Bay 36. Shackleton Magellan works out that the Alien Navigation Device permits beaconless jumps straight into atmosphere, and fits a Stealth Tracking Gizmo to the hull. Granted 24 hours of R&R, the crew are hired by Samina Ventura to find the missing courtesan Brianna Melvin, and trade information with reporter Pia Kadyrov of Thides Cast. Julija Borja interrogates them, receives Six’s Mission Report, and confronts Holger Graeme over MacMillian’s reporting chain. On patrol that evening, a Kinetic Logistics team ambushes them on the cargo level. Shackleton’s tracker returns nothing: the quarantined ship has left the Thides System.
- (in-game date TBD) — The Room 2002 Cover-Up — Brianna Melvin vanishes after a Royale Hotel party hosted by Wilton Agramunt for Peter Goodwin; the suite is professionally scrubbed, the cameras timed around it, and Wilton Agramunt himself goes missing days later.
- (in-game date TBD) — The Shipping Sector Ambush — armed Kinetic Logistics operatives jam comms and attack the crew in the Shipping and Receiving Sector; one killed, one captured alive, one fled, and a Kinetic Logistics ID Card recovered.
Session 5 — Hostile Takeover
-
(in-game date TBD) — The 07-Delta Raid — Julija Borja deputises the crew and leads an off-books federal raid on 07-Delta Station on Thides I, tracked by a covert listening post in the Thidian Belt. The facility is found rigged for demolition; the control room is cleared and detonates behind the crew. Daniela Akkermans escapes; Shackleton Magellan is severely wounded.
-
(in-game date TBD) — The Pratrock Takeover — Wilton Agramunt is found dead in his residence and Solveig Kaufer announces over station-wide comms that MacMillian has been acquired by Pratrock Dynamics, while Kinetic Logistics drop ships board MacMillian Station IV. Julija Borja is murdered by Daniela Akkermans in Docking Bay 36. The crew escape the Thides System through a vortex opened by the Alien Navigation Device.
-
Session 6 — The Airlock Interrogation — Six questions Marlo Petrak aboard The Albatross and moves to space him; Ronin Sanchez intervenes by force. Petrak names Doug and Gary Johnson, and is taken on as probationary crew.
-
Session 6 — The crew christen the stolen transport The Albatross during a four-day hyperspace transit navigated by the Alien Navigation Device rather than Republic beacons.
-
Session 6 — The Corwin II Facility Raid — the cube seizes the autopilot and flies the ship into the concealed Corwin II Subterranean Landing Bay. The crew breach it, are locked in, fight clear of Pratrock Dynamics security, and Six cuts the hangar doors open from the hull.
-
Session 6 — Kinetic Logistics is dissolved and absorbed into its parent company, days after seizing MacMillian Station IV by force.
-
Session 6 — The crew jump for the Eris System on coordinates entered by hand, the cube severed from the autopilot.
-
Session 7 — The Albatross reaches the Eris System in four days flat, the cube threading hyperspace by its gravitational bends; Shackleton Magellan proves the Corwin autopilot seizure was an external hijack through a comms-array attachment, and fits the Autopilot Kill Switch.
-
Session 7 — The House of Parts Handoff — the crew deliver Julija Borja’s evidence to Roselyn Monroe at the House of Parts on Eris III. Her own thumbprint opens the bag; she issues forged citizen IDs, frees Marlo Petrak from his Marshal cuffs, and speaks of Julija in the past tense before being told she is dead. Marlo Petrak chooses to stay with the crew.
-
Session 7 — Six’s first birthday: declared at the Bamboo Lounge, annually, “until someone established a calendar.”
-
Session 7 — The Goodwin Contract — Roselyn Monroe brokers a job for an unnamed contact: Peter Goodwin delivered to Storage B-342 in exchange for a coded transponder, failure enforced. The evidence ties Goodwin Investments to Kinetic Logistics grazers on the Eris III black market.
-
Session 7 — The reconnaissance of the Firetemic Tower: the two-stage armored garage, the Millennial Cleaning and Janitorial Services shift pattern, the engineers’ service-elevator intelligence — and Six, via the Aethel City Sewers, riding an armored transport’s roof into the restricted basement garage under his chameleon suit. The session ends with him inside.
