Overview
A vast, dimly lit industrial space beneath the landing platforms of Aethel Starport, filled with pipes, support columns, conveyor belts, and maintenance machinery. It sits on the federal side of the starport, which is Republic territory under federal rather than planetary law. The crew had already learned the planetary authorities and the federal side are separate jurisdictions.
Six cut a plug through the cinder block of the boundary wall and looked out on a squad of eight federal soldiers in military-grade armor and two Dreadnought battle suits, watching a maintenance drill on a tractor bore into the wall some distance away, searching for the crew’s tunnel from the other side. Support pylons give cover. Following the conveyor belts leads to the storage sector, where Storage B-342 sits.
