The Roberts Estate Storm Raid
Outcome: Scavengers robbed the estate's medical building under cover of a storm. Six stopped their vehicle with two shots, the survivors were killed at the wreck, and the stolen crate was recovered.

What Happened
- In the dead of night, with the storm still raging, Rock Lavey woke to gunfire and roused the crew in the guest quarters of the Roberts Estate.
- Outside, overseers ran for vehicles and spotlights swept the plains. Shackleton Magellan and Six reached the porch of the main house, where Harding Roberts was shouting orders: scavengers of the Free Peric Movement had broken into the medical building and stolen supplies.
- Six climbed into Roberts’s vehicle and Shackleton followed.
- Rock found the medical building’s overseer badly beaten, with a deep gash across the head, and stabilized him. One of the delivered crates was gone. The crew’s Tracked All-Terrain Transport carried fresh blaster scorch marks; the raiders had used it as cover.
- On the plains, three other estate vehicles were chasing a rust-eaten ATV of the same design with a large crate jammed into its back seat.
- Six took three turns of aim from the bouncing vehicle and fired a ten-shot burst at about 100 yards, blowing out the rear tire and halving the ATV’s speed.
- At 44 yards he shot the exposed driver dead. The ATV snapped sideways, flipped and rolled, throwing its occupants and the crate across the plain.
- Naja Juan reached the wreck first and killed each survivor.
- Roberts congratulated Six on a remarkable shot. Six said it was average. The crate went back to the compound.
Why It Matters
Harding Roberts told the crew he owes them a favour, paid them ten credits each at breakfast, and handed Shackleton Magellan a card for Aliya Pontecorvo. That card led to the Katha contract.
