Description
A fortified compound on the plains of Peric IV D: guard towers, fenced perimeters, and what looks like a ring of mines around a well-built two-story prefab house that belongs in a wealthy neighborhood on a civilized planet. Low dugout buildings sit half-sunk in the ground around it. Every labourer, loader and butler has the same face.
What’s Here
- The main house: a grand hall with a large staircase, carved wood, immaculate rugs, oil paintings and taxidermied trophies from a dozen worlds. A portrait of a woman in clothing that clashes with the rest of the decor hangs in the hall.
- The study: a corner room with leather couches, decanters, a collection of rare paper books beside electronic ones, and mounted predators, some twelve feet tall. Each trophy has a plaque giving where it was taken, the date, the planet and the means of the kill.
- The dining room: formal, multi-course, served by clone butlers in white tails.
- The guest quarters: a semi-underground dugout with six small bunk rooms, a shared bathroom with hot running water, and steel-shuttered windows. A locked subterranean passage connects it to the main house. The doors lock from the inside.
- The medical building: a squat dugout where the clones’ drug is stored. The crew delivered their cargo here.
- The plains around it: open-pit mines and geodesic bio-domes of hydroponic gardens, worked by groups of five to ten clones under armed overseers in vehicles. Black Ice grows wild between them.
- The hidden landing site: a rough, flattened rock pad under camouflage, with several dugout buildings, out on the claim.
- The Rand Mountains: on the far western edge of the claim. Harding Roberts says scavengers hide in caves there.

Campaign Log
- Session 11 - The Cost of a Clone’s Life — The crew delivered the Castellan Biodynamics drug to the medical building for 300 credits, sheltered from a storm in the guest quarters, and dined with Harding Roberts. Scavengers raided the medical building in the night (The Roberts Estate Storm Raid). Later The Albatross loaded cargo and two clone passengers at the hidden landing site.
What Happened Here
The Roberts Estate Storm Raid
Scavengers robbed the estate's medical building under cover of a storm. Six stopped their vehicle with two shots, the survivors were killed at the wreck, and the stolen crate was recovered.
