Tangler Grenades

Current Holder: Pratrock Dynamics security robots

Overview

Crowd-control ordnance fired from the cannon arm of the large bipedal Pratrock security robot. The projectiles burst into masses of sticky polymer designed to root a target in place.

Properties

Fired three at once in spherical projectiles. The polymer creates persistent zones across a corridor.

They are indiscriminate — the robot’s own volley trapped two of its allied units, and the smaller robots had to climb the corridor walls to get past.

Appearances

• Session 6 (Session 06 - The Albatross Takes Flight) — Fired at the crew by the cannon-armed robot; trapped its own side. Shackleton Magellan identified them. See The Corwin II Facility Raid.
• Session 8 (Session 08 - A Crappy Plan Comes Together) — Hand-grenade form. A 17th-floor guard armed one from his belt as Six choked him. It went off when he died, webbing the walls, the desk and the floor. Six rolled clear and later looted one off a fallen guard. The Firetemic Tower Raid.
