Their first offering, a sensor update allowing something in physical space to detect physical object in hyperspace has been a boon to gate operations.

History
- Session 5 (Session 05 - Hostile Takeover) — Acquired MacMillian. The announcement was made over station-wide comms at MacMillian Station IV by Solveig Kaufer, the station manager’s assistant, ordering all personnel to their quarters — delivered within minutes of the crew finding Wilton Agramunt dead at his desk. In the same moments, Kinetic Logistics drop ships detached from newly arrived transports and attached themselves to the station hull, and the station passed into total lockdown with the jump gate controlled and all ships grounded. The crew witnessed the corporate acquisition and the armed boarding as a single event.
- Session 7 (Session 07 - The Goodwin Contract) — Expanding in plain sight, a system away. In Aethel’s corporate district on Eris III, the crew watched the MacMillian Mining building being rebranded with Pratrock Dynamics signage — the acquisition rolling out across the sector’s real estate while the crew still carry the only eyewitness account of how it happened.
Pratrock’s entry in Tim’s world predates this session: a young corporation that made its name on a sensor allowing something in physical space to detect physical objects in hyperspace, sold into gate operations, plus government contracts and a research facility. A gate-technology firm has just bought the company that owns the chokepoint of a charted dead-end system. Whether Pratrock is the acquiring face of the trade, a rival moving on it, or a legitimate business being used as cover is Tim’s to decide — and the crew have not connected any of it.
