The heart of Aethel: a wagon-wheel road layout radiating out from a central square ringed by corporate towers, the Firetemic Tower and a federal building among them. Autonomous cab stations line the square, and the Aethel Subway Station sits underneath it, its one-way mirrored ceilings looking up into the plaza. The crew’s free public shuttle from the starport delivers here, and Peter Goodwin’s limousine used the tower’s executive driveway on the square’s edge.
