Overview
One of the Firetemic Corporation engineers drinking off a bad day at the bar near the Firetemic Tower, the same crowd who told Rock Lavey about the prick on the 17th floor locking down the service elevator. Edvin drank harder than the rest, left for the public transport in the Aethel Central Square, and was found by the crew an hour later slumped against a bench post on an upper platform of the Aethel Subway Station, snoring.
He never woke. Shackleton Magellan stood beside him and cloned the digital signature off his security badge over near-field with a purpose-built device while Rock Lavey and Ronin Sanchez blocked the cameras. A security droid came to check on him, confirmed he still had his card, and found no crime. His badge got the crew through the tower’s front door and up to the 16th floor. It would not take them to the 17th.
