The main city of Katha V, and the capital of the planet, is a mix of above and below ground construction.
Overview
The main city of Katha V, and the capital of the planet, is a mix of above and below ground construction. On the surface the city consists of large re-enforced greenhouses, along with a few domes setup to provide outdoor recreation in warm environments to the citizens. Below ground are the large caves carved out to provide open living space to the citizens. The city is the primary base for the whale fleet, a series of cutters and icebreakers that hunt the giant jellyfish, Aequorea victoria, across the partially frozen seas of the planet. These bioluminescence jellyfish are harvested and used to produce a product that is woven into high-end clothing of the republic.
