Origin: Recovered from the attackers killed and captured in the Shipping and Receiving Sector

Overview

The sidearms carried by the armoured Kinetic Logistics team that ambushed the crew in the Shipping and Receiving Sector — and a piece of evidence in their own right, because they are plainly not what a corporate security contractor is supposed to be walking around a mining station with.

In use they fired tight, high-intensity beams that burned large holes clean through reinforced station wall plating, with enough collateral damage to the surrounding electrical runs to set the corridor lighting flickering. That is structural-damage-grade output from a pistol, on a pressurised station.

One of them failed catastrophically mid-fight: the shot went wide over Six’s shoulder and struck a concealed attacker who had been working around behind the party — killing the flanker before the crew knew he was there.

The crew recovered two functional pistols from the fallen.
