Shipping and Receiving Sector
Station DistrictLong dim corridors on the cargo level, loud with conveyor hum and the clank of automated machinery, lit badly enough that a wire strung at knee height goes unseen.
The industrial cargo level of MacMillian Station IV — long, poorly lit corridors threaded with conveyor belts and automated handling machinery, the kind of patrol beat handed out as routine.
Overview
The industrial cargo level of MacMillian Station IV — long, poorly lit corridors threaded with conveyor belts and automated handling machinery, the kind of patrol beat handed out as routine. It is also, as the crew discovered, a stretch of station where communications can be jammed completely and nobody is close enough to notice a firefight.
The corridor walls now carry the scarring: large holes burned clean through reinforced plating by high-intensity beam fire, with collateral damage to the station’s electrical runs that set the lighting flickering.
Points of Interest
- The tripwire intersection — a dimly lit junction where a thin wire was strung across the corridor, wired to an electronic trigger box concealed beneath a conveyor belt. Six spotted it before the party walked into it.
Appearances
- Session 4 (Session 04 - The Case of the Missing Courtesan) — The crew drew routine patrol duty here and were ambushed. See The Shipping Sector Ambush. Communications were jammed, gas canisters were rolled into the corridor, and armoured attackers with beam weapons engaged; one was killed, one stunned and captured, at least one escaped.
Relationships
- Part of MacMillian Station IV — The station's cargo and warehouse level — shipping and receiving.
What Happened Here
The Shipping Sector Ambush
The crew survive an armed ambush on station. One attacker dead, one captured alive, at least one escaped. Two beam pistols and a Kinetic Logistics ID card recovered — the crew's first evidence that Kinetic Logistics is operating violently inside MacMillian Station IV.
