Overview

An identification card issued by Kinetic Logistics, recovered by Shackleton Magellan from a personal pouch inside the armoured suit of the attacker Six killed during The Shipping Sector Ambush.

Its significance is not subtle. Until this card, Kinetic Logistics was a name on a crate in Processing II and a logo on buildings five miles from a relay tower on a restricted planet. The card puts the company’s own personnel, armed with military-grade beam weapons and comms jamming, inside MacMillian Station IV — attacking the crew who raided their compound days earlier.

It establishes that the ambush was not random, that the crew were specifically targeted, and that somebody knew where their patrol route ran.
