Overview
Small, round devices from the Firetemic Corporation R&D floor of the Firetemic Tower, built to knock a fire down fast with chemical foam. The Firetemic engineers mentioned them over drinks in Session 7 (the prototype presentation the 17th floor’s elevator lockdown nearly cost them). In Session 8 Shackleton Magellan found a pair among the 3D printers and scorched test rooms, next to two-to-three-foot canisters of experimental suppression mixtures labelled with nothing but test numbers, formulated for different gravity environments.
He dropped one down the service elevator shaft onto the men shooting up at Rock Lavey and Ronin Sanchez. A bang, a wet splat, silence, and then the muffled sounds of guards trying to clear thick foam out of their weapons and faces. Four of them came out of the service elevator on the 17th floor still wearing it.
Properties
Effect as observed: an area burst of dense foam that stops light, movement and shooting for long enough to matter. Stat block, TL and duration are Tim’s. Whether the second grenade is still on Shackleton is unstated in the export.
