A small, discreet signalling device pressed into Kate Broadbeck’s hand by Shackleton Magellan at The Silk Abbey, alongside federal credits — payment to ensure she was the one called up to Wilton Agramunt’s quarters next, and to signal only if she genuinely felt threatened.

When the crew left the system on Julija Borja’s mission, Shackleton left the receiving end with Holger Graeme, who was himself locked in a cell by the end of the session.
