Wilton Agramunt

Role Station Manager of MacMillian Station IV Status dead
Current manager of MacMilian Station IV, and director in the Macmillian company.

Overview

Current manager of MacMilian Station IV, and director in the Macmillian company. He sees his job as a dead end, and just hopes the company survives long enough for him to retire. Oblivious to the goings on around the station, he leans more on his directory secretary to run the day to day operations. Little or none of the station business reach him, leaving him not only obtuse, but also mis-informed about what is going on around him.

He always dresses impeccably, as a company director of a larger more successful corporation would, far outside someone of his current status would.

Motivations & Secrets

Appearances

  • Session 1 (Session 01 - The Ragged Edge of Space) — The crew first met Wilton Agramunt only as a face in a dated, looping orientation video welcoming new arrivals to MacMillian Station IV; in person he was absent, said to be occupied with “personal business.” Later that evening they spotted him at The Silk Abbey’s high-roller level, a woman on either side, distractedly signing station documents that Solveig Kaufer kept pushing at him and waving her off between sips of his drink. He came across as thoroughly disengaged from the running of the station.

  • Session 4 (Session 04 - The Case of the Missing Courtesan) — Never seen in person, and by session’s end missing. He hosted a private party for Peter Goodwin in Room 2002 of the Royale Hotel, with women brought over from The Silk Abbey; Brianna Melvin — described by her colleagues as his particular favourite — was specifically asked to stay behind when the others were dismissed, and was never recorded leaving. Security footage shows Agramunt departing the suite with Peter Goodwin and Solveig Kaufer, the two men heading toward The Silk Abbey. Samina Ventura told the crew she had not seen him since the previous day, and that he was last observed speaking with Ajeet Siegel. Her colleagues’ accounts also established the pattern: Brianna disappearing with him for a few days was routine, once or twice a month, and he had once taken her to Aethel in the Eris System, from which she returned with expensive gifts. See The Room 2002 Cover-Up.

  • Session 5 (Session 05 - Hostile Takeover)Found dead. Julija Borja led the crew through service passages to his private residence to arrest him; her badge failed at the door and Six breached the lock with the vibro-axe. Agramunt was behind his desk with a blaster wound to the head and the weapon on the table beside him. Kate Broadbeck lay unconscious and face down on the floor of the same room. Minutes later Solveig Kaufer announced over station-wide comms that MacMillian had been acquired by Pratrock Dynamics. Borja took his data pad and comm link as evidence and fled with the crew; nobody examined either device before she was killed. Earlier in the session he was named by Holger Graeme as one of only three people on the station with the HR access needed to assemble the dossier found on Marlo Petrak’s bio-computer — the others being Graeme himself and Vita Ó Taidhg. Kate Broadbeck told Shackleton Magellan that in the days before his death he had called her to his quarters only to sit and weep over a picture of Brianna Melvin for hours, barely acknowledging her presence.

No evidence of complicity was established. The gmassistant.app export’s item blurb described his data pad as evidencing communications with Daniela Akkermans and Kinetic Logistics; that claim is rejected (Ant, 2026-08-09) because none of the players read the pad. The device left the station unopened. The Overview above therefore stands unrevised: he remains, in canon, the disengaged manager who leaned on his secretary and was kept mis-informed. Whether that was true to the end is now a question the unopened pad might answer.

Cause of death unresolved

The scene is dressed for suicide — the weapon placed on the table beside him — and arrives minutes before the acquisition announcement, with a witness unconscious on the floor and a Marshal at the door with grounds to arrest him. Suicide, staging, and silencing all play very differently. Tim’s call (Session 5 Keeper Checklist).
