Overview
Ambitious Marshal of the Federal Republic, she is a by the book official and finds it difficult operating in a company controlled system. Her lack of direct authority outside of limited areas forces her to spend most time doing paperwork reporting actions of the company, as well as arranging the deportations from the Thides System. She is effectively the only representative of the Federal Republic in the system.

Session 4 (Session 04 - The Case of the Missing Courtesan) — First contact with the crew, and a hard one. She hailed the The Albatross on its way back from Thides III demanding identification, accepted the crew’s claim to be MacMillian security on authorised orders, and ordered them to run their transponder and bring the ship in — then had it quarantined at Docking Bay 36 on arrival while she flew a Marshal-marked military fighter down to Thides III herself to investigate the interrupted relays. The following morning she interrogated the crew in her office at the Marshal’s Office, with Marlo Petrak in the brig behind her. When Six refused to answer on grounds of classified corporate orders and cited Holger Graeme’s instructions and station regulation clauses at her, she walked across the hall and berated Graeme in a voice that carried through the walls until he came back and ordered the crew to cooperate fully. She then worked Six’s Mission Report with pedantic thoroughness — verbally re-verifying material already written down, to Six’s visible exasperation — covering the Kinetic Logistics logos at the Kinetic Logistics Compound, the sighting of Daniela Akkermans, and the Alien Navigation Device. She broke off abruptly on connecting the technology at Relay Station 11, the container in Processing II, and the ship, dismissed the crew, and resumed pressing Holger Graeme on why her office had been kept in the dark.

Session 5 (Session 05 - Hostile Takeover) — Her last session, and the one that made her the crew’s patron. She summoned them to the Marshal’s Office at 5 a.m. through Holger Graeme, made clear the job was federal and entirely voluntary, then darkened the office windows and swore the crew in as temporary deputy marshals. Her briefing was the most complete picture of the conspiracy anyone has given the crew: Kinetic Logistics as a smuggling front operating out of the Thides System; the prototype weapons tied to targeted killings of high-ranking figures across the sector; and a covert Federal Republic listening post in the Thidian Belt that had tracked a Kinetic Logistics ship to 07-Delta Station on Thides I rather than out through the gate. She locked the broken Grazer in a high-security wall compartment, authorised the crew from the armoury, flew the Strider out of Docking Bay 8 under a false supply-run call sign, and led the raid herself — repairing the maintenance vehicle, cutting the demolition wiring, killing two armoured guards with her carbine, stabilising Shackleton Magellan, and knifing an operative in the control room before securing the mission data. Back at MacMillian Station IV she moved to arrest Wilton Agramunt, found him dead, took his data pad and comm link, and ran for her office through the coup, packing memory sticks, reports and a laptop into a duffel. She was killed in Docking Bay 36 — helmet off, working at a terminal, stabbed in the neck by Daniela Akkermans, who came through a door behind her. The crew could not reach her. Her evidence bag made it onto the ship; she did not.
She was the crew’s only federal channel and the sole author of their deputy-marshal commission — sworn in a darkened office with no recorded witnesses and no surviving paperwork. Whether that authority survives her is an open Keeper question. She also held Six’s Mission Report and had custody of Marlo Petrak, who is now aboard the crew’s ship instead.
- Session 7 (Session 07 - The Goodwin Contract) — Her last instruction completed, and her tradecraft revealed. The crew delivered her evidence to Roselyn Monroe at the House of Parts on Eris III — and the bag’s biometric lock opened to Roselyn’s own thumbprint, which means Borja keyed her insurance to a specific, trusted person long before she died. Roselyn spoke of her in the past tense before the crew told her anything, with the quiet certainty of someone who had known for some time.
