Overview

A cardboard explorer’s hat from a Bamboo Lounge children’s activity kit, issued alongside the silly straw Six asked for. He put it on top of his combat infantry helmet without a moment’s hesitation and wore it for the rest of the evening, through his first birthday cake, his standing annual birthday declaration, and the walk back to the House of Parts — where Roselyn Monroe stopped, stared, and asked Shackleton Magellan whether Six had suffered an accident since they left.
