Overview
The name at the end of Julija Borja’s last instruction turned out to be a woman stocking shelves in her own junkyard. Roselyn Monroe owns and operates the House of Parts, a sprawling open-air maze of salvaged starship components at the worn far end of Aethel Starport, fronted by an aggressive sales robot that insists it is the owner. She carries a metal baton at her side and keeps a hand near it around strangers, and her office hides a stripped engine on a worktable, a couch somebody sometimes sleeps on, and a row of trophies and awards tucked out of sight behind the junk.
What she is under the proprietor is the interesting part. When the crew produced the Marshal’s evidence bag, she staged a small electronic device as the thing that opened it, and Shackleton Magellan alone caught the truth: her thumb slid across the biometric reader, and the lock answered her. She was the right Monroe. She had always been the right Monroe. She reviewed the contents alone behind closed blinds, came back with forged Federal Republican citizen IDs for the whole crew, told them the evidence was dangerous enough that the people connected to it would come looking, and recommended they disappear into the outer sectors. And she spoke about Julija in the past tense, with the quiet certainty of someone who had known for some time — before the crew told her anything about how Julija died.
She is also a fixer with reach. She unlocked Marlo Petrak’s Marshal-issued handcuffs with her device, spent an hour studying the alien cube aboard The Albatross and identified its technology as Kinetic Logistics’ — adding that the company has since been absorbed by a parent corporation, and that she would look into it. Within hours she had a job on the table: Peter Goodwin, delivered to Storage B-342, in exchange for a properly coded transponder. Her contact goes unnamed. Her failure clause did not.

Motivations & Secrets
Established in play: she is the intended recipient of a dead Federal Marshal’s off-books evidence, keyed to her own thumbprint — which makes the arrangement between her and Julija Borja older and deeper than a name scribbled for couriers. She knew Julija was dead before being told. She can source forged federal IDs on an hour’s notice, open Marshal hardware, and broker black-market transponders through a contact serious enough that she warns people about failing him.
