Corwin II
Overview
The crew arrived here against their will, flown in by the Alien Navigation Device after it seized the autopilot and refused to release it. A rocky world with only trace atmosphere. They came down on the dark side, into a narrow fissure in a crater wall with inches of hull clearance, onto a concealed powered landing pad that clamped the gear and lowered the ship underground into the Corwin II Subterranean Landing Bay. Pratrock’s known site, Pratrock Dynamics Research Facility 42, is on the opposite side of the planet and was never entered — the fighters that pursued them came from it.
They left it in a firefight. See The Corwin II Facility Raid.
The second and larger rocky world. It has trace atmosphere in some of the craters, but not enough to maintain life. Pratrock Dynamics maintains a secure research facility here.
