Overview
Pia is a small time reporter and content distributor in the Thides System. She reports on the local news as best she can, while trying to find a big story that will get her recognized by the bigger networks. She once worked as an intern for FRNC, but left after her opportunities for promotion dried up, at least that is the story she tells. A few years ago she came to Thides and setup her operation, more that she just took over the local abandoned setup that the company ignored for decades.
Notes
- Her left eye is replaced with an optical implant, it allows her to record up to six hours of video. The implant looks like a normal human eye, but any scanners will pick it up

- Session 4 (Session 04 - The Case of the Missing Courtesan) — Her first on-screen appearance, and the crew’s first independent press contact. She tailed the crew through the Entertainment District after the Processing II container incident became station gossip, was turned away from The Silk Abbey by its bouncers, and was confronted on the promenade by Six, who asked her point-blank why she was following him and then whether she was a hooker. She pressed for a statement on the communication device found in the cargo container at Processing II; the crew refused. Later the crew tracked her to her one-room home and studio, the Thides Cast Studio, and traded with her instead: shown the Royale Hotel footage she identified Brianna Melvin on sight as the station manager’s favourite, and flagged the professional anomaly the crew had circled — station hotels clean with robotics, so a human cleaning crew makes no sense. She took Hildebrand Panza’s name (unfamiliar to her) and agreed to research it in exchange for detail on the technology of unknown origin, which she immediately recognised as a career-making scoop. The exchange nearly ended in her death: her phrase “your unknown origins” sent Six’s hand to his vibro-axe before she clarified she meant the alien technology. See The Room 2002 Cover-Up.
