Overview

The top-ring public strip of MacMillian Station IV — neon and noise crammed into a single corridor of gambling dens, bars, and service establishments, smelling of spilled drink and opportunity. Security patrols the edges but watches with practiced disinterest, tolerating petty crime — pickpockets, shell games, panhandlers slipping guards a credit chip — so long as nothing boils over. A pervasive kickback culture runs through the whole strip: comped drinks, meals, chips, and services flow to security personnel in exchange for a blind eye. It houses Nova Nexus, The Comets Tail, and The Silk Abbey.

Appearances

• Session 1 (Session 01 - The Ragged Edge of Space) — Rock Lavey and Shackleton Magellan were escorted through the district on arrival, past the Marshal’s Office and into induction. Later, off shift, the crew worked the strip in turn — The Comets Tail, The Silk Abbey, then Nova Nexus — and clocked the kickback economy running through every venue.
• Session 4 (Session 04 - The Case of the Missing Courtesan) — The crew spent their 24-hour R&R here, over a meal of steak and lobster, and were tailed along the promenade by reporter Pia Kadyrov — spotted first by Rock Lavey and Shackleton Magellan, then identified by Six from her Thides Cast broadcasts. The confrontation that followed happened on the strip outside The Silk Abbey, after the Abbey’s bouncers turned her away at the door.
