Overview

A hardwired physical data port concealed behind the right ear of the ambusher taken alive in the shipping-sector ambush, beneath a flap of skin, linking to a system-enhancement computer integrated into his body. The man remains unnamed and un-statted.

Its significance is the wire. Republic technology is wireless by default, so a physical connector is not a shortcut — it is deliberate isolation from any network, on a courier who could then carry data that no scan would find and no transmission would betray.

Contents when accessed by the crew: a full tactical briefing for the shipping-sector ambush — patrol routes, shift schedules, and complete personnel files on every crew member pulled from MacMillian Station IV’s own HR system. Detailed enough to include every maintenance request Six had ever filed and every arrest he had ever made. The last entry corresponds to the crew’s mission to Thides III, dating the leak.

Reading it produced the dossier above, which led Holger Graeme to conclude that only three people on the station held HR access that comprehensive — himself, Wilton Agramunt, and Vita Ó Taidhg.
