The Marshal's Evidence Bag
Current Holder: Roselyn Monroe, House of Parts — delivered Session 7
Origin: Julija Borja, Marshal's Office
Overview
A duffel bag packed by Marshal Julija Borja in her own office while Kinetic Logistics troops held the corridor outside — memory sticks, physical reports, and a laptop, all of it evidence against Kinetic Logistics.
It made it aboard the ship. She did not. It was the crew’s only inheritance from the only federal officer who believed them, and in Session 7 it reached its intended destination: Roselyn Monroe, who runs the House of Parts junkyard at the far end of Aethel Starport (Borja’s secondhand description had placed “Monroe” in the lower slums of Aethel). The bag’s biometric lock opened to Roselyn’s own thumbprint — she staged a device as the mechanism, and only Shackleton Magellan caught the truth. The evidence, which points to Goodwin Investments as the connection behind black-market grazer pistols on Eris III, is now hers. See The House of Parts Handoff.
Properties
Memory sticks, physical reports, a laptop, and the broken Grazer Pistol. Julija Borja locked the broken pistol in her office’s high-security wall compartment during the briefing and recovered it from that compartment while packing during the coup, so the crew carried the prototype weapon out of the system along with her case files.
Appearances
- Session 5 (Session 05 - Hostile Takeover) — Packed during the station lockdown and carried to Docking Bay 36. Found aboard the ship in the crew quarters after the jump, beside the bound Marlo Petrak.
- Session 7 (Session 07 - The Goodwin Contract) — Delivered. Opened at the House of Parts by Roselyn Monroe’s thumbprint behind a staged device; contents reviewed by her alone behind closed blinds. The evidence stays with her. Whether the broken grazer prototype went to her with the case files or remains aboard The Albatross is unstated in the export.
