Overview
The first time anyone takes the fight to Kinetic Logistics rather than absorbing it. An off-books federal raid on an abandoned mining facility on Thides I, mounted on the strength of a covert listening post’s tracking data, against a site whose operators were already erasing it.
The crew arrived to find the facility being rigged for demolition. Whatever 07-Delta was for, it was being closed down before anyone official could see it, which makes the case of data Julija Borja carried out the only surviving account of it.
What Happened
- Julija Borja deputised the crew as temporary deputy marshals and briefed them: Kinetic Logistics as a smuggling front, its prototype weapons tied to targeted killings across the sector, and a covert Federal Republic listening post in the Thidian Belt that had tracked a Kinetic Logistics ship to Thides I rather than out through the gate.
- The team launched from Docking Bay 8 on a Strider-class transport under a false supply-run call sign and landed twenty-five miles from the target, in the dust zone of the terminator line.
- In the outpost they found two maintenance vehicles; Shackleton Magellan scrounged the missing part and Borja got one running for the tunnel run.
- Deep in the conveyor corridor, Six scouted ahead in the Chameleon Suit and found two workers wiring the tunnels to a central detonator box. They spotted him; he killed both before either reached a communicator. Borja took a headset for the radio codes and began cutting the demolition wiring.
- A radio check-in to the captured call sign was answered badly, and the channel went dead. They had been made.
- Four armoured soldiers came down the catwalks of the main processing plant. In the firefight Shackleton Magellan took a blaster round through his Monocryst Tactical Suit and went down severely wounded; Borja killed two with her carbine, Six choked out a third.
- In the control room, Daniela Akkermans slipped out a far door as the crew prepared to breach. Six killed four unarmoured operatives in a single pass and a fifth after Borja knifed one; the last fell to a backhand. P.E.T.A. literature lay scattered and blood-soaked among the wiring boards.
- Borja secured a folding screen case of mission data and called the retreat. The control room detonated behind them as they withdrew.

Outcome
The crew hold the only material record of the 07-Delta operation, and they killed everyone at the site who could have explained it. Daniela Akkermans escaped and was waiting for them at MacMillian Station IV. Shackleton Magellan survived on trauma patches and nanomachines.
