Overview
One of the last mining operation on Thides I that operated until the planet almost reached planetary collapse. The operation was abandoned by the MacMillian Company and left to rot, without maintance the solar winds, heat, and radiation began to break down the remains. Some of the facilities would be operational with a bit of effort, and some remain still pressure sealed and safe to inhabit. Scavengers will occasionally seek out the location to harvest for supplies and equipment left behind.

- Session 5 (Session 05 - Hostile Takeover) — Raided. Julija Borja’s briefing identified this abandoned mining facility on Thides I as the destination of a Kinetic Logistics ship tracked by a covert Federal Republic listening post in the Thidian Belt — the ship went here rather than out through the gate. The crew landed twenty-five miles out and entered through a decommissioned mining outpost. What they walked through, in order: a stripped maintenance area holding two maintenance vehicles, one repaired by Borja with a part Shackleton Magellan scrounged from a collapsed shelf; a vast dark conveyor corridor driven at 25–30 mph; two Kinetic Logistics workers rigging the tunnel walls to blow, wired to a central detonator box, killed by Six before either reached a communicator; an airlock and decompression chamber bypassed on Borja’s security code; and the main processing plant — a cavern carved from the planetary rock around a cold blast furnace, webbed with catwalks, chutes and ore buckets, its footlights flickering. A radio check-in to the captured call sign exposed them. Four armoured soldiers came down the catwalks; the firefight left Shackleton Magellan severely wounded. In the control room, Daniela Akkermans slipped out ahead of the breach and Six killed four unarmoured operatives in a single pass, Borja a fifth. The crew recovered a folding screen case of mission data and found P.E.T.A. literature scattered blood-soaked among the wiring boards. The control room detonated behind them as they withdrew. The wider demolition network was partially disarmed by the crew cutting wires as they advanced.
